CCCUA Releases Chancellor’s, Dean’s Lists

DE QUEEN – Kristin Bowden, Vice Chancellor and Dean of Academic Services at Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas, has released the Chancellor’s and Dean’s Lists for the summer 2003 term.
The qualification for inclusion on the Chancellor’s List is a 4.0 grade point average after completing 12 hours of college-level courses. The Chancellor’s List honorees are:

Bowden said of the students who made the lists, "We are very pleased that we have these high-achieving students, who make up part of the 31% increase in enrollment we saw this summer. In the summer of 2000, we had one each on the President's and Dean's lists. This year, we have three on the Chancellor’s list and six on the Dean’s list, which shows our commitment to higher academic standards and improvement in instruction at CCCUA."
Cossatot Community College offers both Associate’s degrees and technical certification in a wide range of fields on its campus at De Queen, at extension sites at Nashville and Ashdown, and at http: //cccua.edu. It has an enrollment of over 900 students, and is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools’ Higher Learning Commission.
